At Xplorist, we want to ignite a passion for travel in others. We believe that traveling to new countries, connecting with diverse cultures, and stepping outside one’s comfort zone offers a unique perspective on the world that cannot be gained any other way. The stories and experiences shared on our platform aim to inspire others to embark on their own adventures.
We are also incredibly excited by the ability of modern technology to document the world in ways never before possible. As travelers, we now have the tools to capture and share our journeys, inspiring a new generation of creators to do the same. With Xplorist, we hope to be part of this movement, sharing what excites us about the world and inviting others to join us on this journey.
Who We Are
At heart, we are travelers. When we’re not on the road, we’re planning our next adventure. The founders of Xplorist come from diverse backgrounds but share a deep-rooted love for travel that began in our early years.
My own journey with travel started as a child, when my parents sold everything and took off in a VW van during the Canadian winter, traveling through Central America for two years. That adventure ignited a love for exploration that has taken me across the globe—from bartending in Thailand to founding a non-profit in India.
My wife’s story is one of resilience, as her family escaped Iran and traveled through several countries before settling in Canada. Our shared passion for travel brought us together, and now with our daughter, we continue exploring the world as a family.
Our Vision
Xplorist is an evolving platform, and like any great adventure, the unknown excites us the most. We have countless ideas and plans, and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes us. We believe that travel is important for everyone, including children, as it broadens horizons and fosters a spirit of adventure.
